I am an oil painter working between Provincetown and Los Angeles. I am drawn to the exceptional light and the unique landscapes of these areas. My work often juxtaposes organic elements (flowers, fish, branches) with the built environment (fences, trays, buildings). My paintings are in dialogue with a photography practice that includes a polaroid a day. Through my work I aim to share my feeling of deep affection for place. I work outdoors, in a studio, and in my living room. Behind-the-scenes glimpses, pedestrian views from walks at odd hours, compositions seen from a bicycle inspire me.
